Rules & Eligibility
Deadline For Entries
- Applications will close on August 15, 2026 at 4:59 p.m. OR when the maximum number of applications have been received. Should an application be received after the deadline, the applicant will be notified and the entry fee shall be returned. No entry fees will be refunded for cancellations or no shows.
Date, Location & Time
- Saturday, September 5, 2026
- Anahuac ISD Auditorium
- 2 p.m.; contestants are required to arrive fully dressed and check in by 12:45 p.m. Backstage interviews will begin at 1 p.m. Parents are not allowed back stage. On stage will begin at 2 p.m.
Check In
- All contestants should arrive to check in fully dressed no later than 12:45 p.m. Contestants will line up immediately for backstage interviews. Any contestant who arrives at 1 p.m. or later will be considered a no show. Application fees will not be refunded for any reason - no exceptions.
On Stage

All participants will be judged on personality, poise, on stage question, and dress. During the course of the pageant, contestants will introduce themselves to the judges and audience. The introduction must be 30 seconds or less in length. Short, simple, to the point. The contestant’s personal data and biography will be read by the emcee during the evening gown portion of the contest.
Dress Code
- Pageant dress - MUST be a floor length formal pageant dress. No gloves.
Photo

All participants are required to submit a pageant headshot to be used for Photogenic judging and in the official Chambers County Scholarship Pageant program. The requirements for the photo are:

Failure to abide by the requirements will result in a no score for the photogenic category. Failure to submit a headshot photo will also result in a no score. Photos must be submitted digitally. Your chairman will reach out to you with instructions on who to email your photo to.
Contest Rules

Contestants will be dressed for judging and in line before 12:45 p.m.

The decision of the judges will be final.

Entry fees are not refundable. Also, please note that in the event of a natural disaster, entry fees will not be refunded.

Good sportsmanship is required at all times. Contestants, their parents and or representatives agree to work with Chambers County Scholarship Pageant volunteers and staff in a positive manner. Any contestant, their parent(s) or representative exhibiting an unprofessional, unsportsmanlike or unethical code of conduct will result in the contestant being asked to leave the pageant and forfeit their entry fee.

The winner of the Chambers County Scholarship Pageant Princess Contest may not compete for another title for any representative pageant or festival during their reign. Should the winner choose to compete in another scholarship pageant or state title pageant, a review and decision will be made on a case by case basis by the Chambers County Scholarship Pageant board.

The contest winner(s) agree by their submission of entry that they will be available for required appearances to be specified at a later date by pageant officials.

By submitting this application, each contestant, their parent(s) or representative agrees to abide by the rules of Chambers County Scholarship Pageant and the Princess Pageant. Applicants also by submission of their application assume all risk of property or bodily injury (including death), which might occur during their participation. Applicant also agrees to hold The Edwards Foundation d.b.a. Chambers County Scholarship Pageant harmless from any claim of any nature arising from their participation and or performance.
Eligibility

Applicants or at least one of their custodial parents (mother or father) or custodial guardian must reside in Chambers County.

Applicants must be in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade as of September 1, 2026.

This contest is limited to the first 20 girl applicants.

Applicants may not hold any other pageant or scholarship pageant title at the time of application or competition.
Entry Fees
- $40 due at the time of application; A director or Chairperson will reach out to you regarding accepted payment methods.
Rehearsal
- An optional on-stage rehearsal will be held the week before the pageant. The pageant chairperson will contact contestants with the date and time.

Once your application is accepted, a member of our team will reach out to you to collect the entry fee of $40. Entry fee's must be paid within 24 hours of the accepted application or your application will be revoked and your spot will be re-opened to the next person on our wait list.
